Recently I was doing a resistance bands reviews search. I wanted to see what new exercise bands are available today.
I noticed that there were some new ones available. Such as the "Biggest Losers Total Body Bands", P90X bands, Ripcords, Tower 200 and others. I also noticed the Nike resistance bands kit. Nike, it seems, has always catered to men, women as well as children in the creation of their products. Unfortunately, I was not too impressed with the Nike's bands kit.
Another major manufacturer that produces strength bands is Reebok. The Reebok fitness tubes are not inexpensive and for what they are charging they are not offering you a lot.
Ripcords are another interesting fitness bands home gym. It's very similar to the other products that are available online. There's nothing that stands out about this particular product in my opinion.
Here is a checklist of the things you should be looking for in your resistance bands reviews:
1. Ability to Attach Themselves to the Handles
When selecting fitness tubes make sure that the handles and bands have the ability to attach. In other words that you have the ability to attach more than one band to the handle at one time. This eliminates the need for carrying a lot of single bands with handles - which requires much less space in your home or when you're traveling.
2. Warranty
make sure that the manufacturer provides you with some kind of warranty. Fitness tubes are made of latex and in time it loses its tensile strength. Or just like a rubber band it can snap. The better quality manufacturers will provide you with a defects warranty of some kind.
3. Door Attachment
This little device is a must-have. It allows you to attach the fitness tubes to your door and as a result it increases dramatically the number of exercises you can perform. I would not purchase a set of resistance bands without this device.
Handles
The handles are a very important attachment. The better quality bands use plastic wrapped by phone for the handle. This is essential as you grow in strength, so that the handles does not cut into your hand.
